Show Dear Mr. Littlefield. I have been very pleased to hear of your good news and to know you in good health hoping you have continued ever since and that the great battles which are fought at present do not effect your health. I have written some weeks ago to Mr. Crawford but the letter has come back because the address was not quite right. I have sent it again and hope this time it will reach him and that he is alright. I am back in Paris since a few days but my family has remained in Caix until next month. News are extraordinary good and the Germans must feel now that their end is pretty near. The Allies are doing good work and everybody is admiring the American Army. I hope you have good news from all your dear ones. Mrs. Weil and the boys want to be remembered to you. When shall I have the pleasure of seeing you again. Very sincerely yours (xxx) |
