Wright Sister Peggy J. Wright is a native of Tallahassee, Florida by way of the country—from a little town called “Midway”. She is the youngest daughter of Andrew and Rena Jackson and the lovely baby sister of Casandra and Marilyn and Aunt to Keturah Poole, her pride and joy. Peggy is the beautiful wife of 23 years to Rev. Charles T. Wright and proud god-mother of 13 children. Peggy was raised in the church. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized a and her beloved husband, Pastor Wright. She currently serves as the Choir & Youth Director, Adult Sunday School and Bible Study teacher as well as Vice-President of the Women’s Missionary Society at Embry Chapel AME Church in Ogden, Utah. Credentials: Peggy is a Graduate of Florida A & M University and Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Entomology and a Masters of Science degree from Virginia Technological University in Blacksburg, Virginia. She served on the Governor’s Council on ae ean eee eee ere under the leadership of the Presiding Prelate Bishop Larry T. In that pageant she again was voted and received the title of “Mrs. Congeniality”. Peggy is an accomplished poetry writer and placed first in the 2004 International Poetry Competition where she represented the United States taking the Distinguished Poet’s Award.
