Lela Sanders, Celebration Chairpersons, at (801) 390-0968. NA Faith (Hebrews 11:1-10) FD Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He Is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of the things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which Is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: (All Together) For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Sis. Martha Luke CORY VERSE 1: I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today; I now that He is living, whatever men may say. I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, and just the time I need Him, He’s always near. CHORUS: He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and He talks with me along life’s narrow way. He lives, He lives, salvation to impart; You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart. — VERSE 2: In all the world around me, I see His loving care; And tho my heart grows weary, I never will despair. I know that he is leading thru all the stormy blast; the day of His appearing will come at last. CHORUS: He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! 3: Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian, lift up your voice and sing; Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ the King! The hope of all who seek Him, the help of all who find, none other is so loving, so good and kind. CHORUS: He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! If you would like to contribute or desire more information, Frazier. please contact Rev. Robert Hall or Dea. Benny Christian Comm itment (Romans 12:1-18) | beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For | say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching. Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation, continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them that persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. (All Together) Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. — - JP “OI Wantto See Him”? Cal Go Sis. Wives, submit yourselves unto your husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it. That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by — the word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not — having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to live their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but © nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: for we are — members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined with his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great — mystery: but | speak concerning Christ and the church. — Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even — as himself: and the wife see that she reverence her husband. Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother: which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. (All Together) And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. | VERSE 1: How to reach the masses, men of every birth, for an answer Jesus gave the key: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, Will draw all men unto Me.” CHORUS: Lift Him up, lift Him up, still He speaks from eternity: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, Will draw all men unto Me.” VERSE 2: Oh, the world is hungry for the Living Bread, lift the Savior up for them to see; Trust Him, and do not doubt the words that He said, “I'll draw all men unto Me.” CHORUS: Lift Him up, lift Him up, still He speaks from eternity: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, Will draw all men unto Me.” VERSE 3: Don’t exalt the preacher, don’t exalt the pew, preach the gospel simple, full and free; Prove Him and you will find that promise is true, “I’ll draw all men unto Me.” CHORUS: Lift Him up, lift Him up, still He speaks from eternity: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, Will draw all men unto Me.” Thought for the Day... “Show love to our children while they’re young, Encourage them while they’re near, For when they’ve gone from your presence, Your praise shall ring loudly in their ear!” Sis. The The Christian Family (Ephesians 5:21-33; 6:1-4) Z va — FE Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband ts the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it. That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to live their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: for we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. will feature a guest singer and weekly lessons will be informative, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be Joined with his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but | speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. Weekly Bible Study Question ...
