Abstract |
Diabetes cases worldwide are increasing. This will lead to an increase in Diabetic Lung Disease, a pathology that most healthcare workers, including respiratory therapists, are unfamiliar with at this time. No current continuing education is available for respiratory therapists at this time regarding Diabetic Lung Disease. Continuing Respiratory Care Education is approved and credentialled through the American Association of Respiratory Care. The goal of this curriculum development project was to create a continuing education course about Diabetic Lung Disease that can be approved for continuing education credits by the AARC. |
