Abstract |
All human beings need to feel attachment to one another. This need to feel attachment is the desire to have a sense of belonging. A sense of belonging helps people in many aspects of their lives. This study specifically focuses on the sense of belonging amongst higher education students. Multiple studies have been conducted that show that students excel in the classroom when they feel the sense of belonging. Instructors can help facilitate a sense of belonging in their own classrooms through. One-way instructors can do this is through high quality instructional videos. Through a canvas course, I instructed instructors on what belonging is and how to develop it in their own classrooms through creating high quality instructional videos. |
