Place: Ramah; Mizpah Golden Text: "Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the Lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?"- (1 Samuel 10:1) FROM THE MINISTER IN CHARGE Our hearts overflow with an inexpressible joy because after all these years of laboring in God’s vineyard, you are still here, remaining faithful and praising God. directed Life affords many opportunities for service, and we feel that this great fellowship here today is an opportunity to serve our Lord in spirit and in truth. 1. God has a special interest in His own people and will make adequate provision for their protection. There are those who would do great things, but because they wait for greater opportunities, life passes them by and the acts of love and kindness pass them by, and one day the door of opportunity is shut and sealed. But not so with active faithful Christians such as you are - you are God’s candles, shining forth as lights in the world, holding forth the Word of Life. Facts: to see how, Today’s Aim through a series of events, God Samuel in the selection of Saul as Israel’s king. Principle: to show that God uses His people according to His sovereign will. Application: to encourage Christians to be humble and available for God to use them. Practical Points 2. When we depend upon God, He will give us wisdom in making our choices. 3. We can be certain that when God calls us to serve Him, He will give us the power and wisdom to accomplish the task. 4. Those who possess humility have the potential to accomplish great things for God because they are more dependent upon Him. 5. Physical abilities can become a controls our lives. spiritual asset when God Continue your efforts in the service of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. HAPPY LOYALTY DAY. Yours in His Service, 6. People can give their leaders the helpful support they need to be successful through prayer and obedience.
