The World War II "All Out for Uncle Sam" oral history project contains interviews from veterans of the war, wives of soldiers, as well as individuals who were present during the war years. The interviews became the compelling background stories for the "All Out for Uncle Sam" exhibit. The project recieved funding from Utah Division of State History, Utah Humanities Council and Weber County RAMP. |
| Abstract |
The following is an oral history interview with Barbara Dibble and her daughter Emma West, conducted in two parts on March 3, 2017 and March 18, 2017, in Barbaras home in Layton, Utah, by Lorrie Rands. Barbara and Emma discuss their lives and their familys connection to Weber County as well as World War II experiences. Michael Baliff, the video technician was also present. |
