| Abstract |
The following is an oral history interview with Alejandro (Alex) Hurtado conducted by Ruby Licona on March 14, 2002. Mr. Hurtado recounts his experiences on the Ogden City Council, leading the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and founding the Utah SOCIO branch. He shares his recollections of the Hispanic community in Utah during the decades he worked on behalf of Hispanic civil rights. This interview contains offensive or outdated language, including racial slurs. |
