Davis She considers herself (in Pastor’s own words) to be the apple of Pastor Davis’ eve. She also considers herself to be the saucer under his cup as God anoints him and his cup overflows, she strives to be there to catch the overflow. She finds a blessing in each prayer and act of support she gives him through words of encouragement and her presence. She knows that it is an asset to any Pastor to have a Godly and God fearing wife. In Christ, she strives to be such. She enjoys writing, speaking and living for the Lord. In her studying and writing in Christ Jesus, she has labeled herself as one also striving to be an Eve Before the Apple! Filled with knowledge of worldly and spiritual things, she works hard at being the help meet God originally planned for before Eve ate of the tree of knowledge, when Eve learned that she could do any and everything. She truly believes that God formed and shaped her to support Pastor Bruce Davis, to be his helper. She is not only a praying wife, but a praying mother, sister grandmother and aunt. She has 3 daughters, 2 sons, 4 sisters, 4 brothers, 9 grandchildren and quite a number of nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She has placed in her heart the desire to be like Ruth as she has great love for her Mother-in-Christ (her mother in law) and has often told her that where she goes, she will follow and that she will serve God with her should anything happen to Pastor Davis. She received her secular education from Gulfport East High School in Gulfport, MS; Huston-Tillotson College in Austin, TX; and Southern University at New Orleans, LA. She received a certificate in Biblical Counseling from American Association of Christian Counselors. At New Zion, she not only is First Lady, but she heads the “Kids of the King” children’s choir, assists with teaching the spiritual meaning of the songs the “Children of the King” Praise Dance ministry dances to, is a member of the Youth Council and teaches the Wednesday night Children and Youth Bible Study. Born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi, her desire is to meet someday and reside forever more in Heaven. yy God face to face Annual Women’s Day Celebration Sunday, August 10, 2008 -s 11:00 a.m. Theme: “Men and Women of God Running the Race with Patience” (Hebrews 12:1-2) Pret OF Or RNIN 2S AR BOB Min.
