As we turn the pages of the past years and recall all we have experienced as a church, our hearts are filled with . praises to God for all that He has made possible ‘Not unto us O Lord; but unto Thy name give glory.” (Psalm 11 5:1 ) How unfailing He has been in His provisions for all the needs! ~ Yet, our hearts are sad over opportunities lost, over our lack of fuller dedication to the service of the Lord, over our failure to bring a greater impact for Him upon the souls of many around us. True repentance is ours because of what we might have accomplished in the extension of our — influence as a church. F ; + Ra) Ba +; Z ae ge te { Re i x : r : ted Another anniversary day, however, presents us with the challenge of renewal for He who has promised to do more for us than at our beginnings is in our midst to forgive the sins and failures of the past and baptize us with power from on high as, in His mercy, we face another year of service. As this broken world has yet to see what God can accomplish through us who are completely yielded to Him, may all of us who form this church place ourselves anew upon His alter. For each of us, there is a message of warning, yet of encouragement can be found in the prayer of Moses, the man of God, who used the somewhat descriptive smile of life whether communal or personal, “We spend our years as a tale that is told.” (Psalm 90:9) : es Ss ah ie ae See a a, _ Bt. = " e “ cf lend to coe am Ea 2 ’ nt =" i f? ae Happy 50" Anniversary Pastor James & Sister Gloria Abrams AR hO a is “3 > DIZWY ’ Qy: About our speaker.....
