In conti nuing this tradition, the distinguished Men of the PI X] LAMBDA chapter (Salt Lake City) culminates our annual celebration of young Black males with an Alpha Beautill ion Scholarship Gala on December 5, 2013 at Little Amer ica Hotel. Tickets are $50 per entrant. The purpose of the event is to creat e college scholarship opportunities for six Alph a Beaus who have part icipated in The Year of the Beau (2013). The program creates positive, mentoring life experiences by facilitating events that foster giving back to the com muni ty, brotherhood and cultural validation whil e preparing them for transitioning from high school to college.
