(b) To create a sympathy for the higest form of the dramatic and lyric art, creating a permanent taste for good drama. Article [[1I—Membership: Section 1. Membership shall be of two classes: active and sustaining, preference to be given to college women. The needs of the Club’s purpose and program must govern the selection of candidates to be voted upon. Readers, actors, artists, musicians, writers, executives, etc., shall be preferred as they are needed; the membership being limited to thirty-five. Section 2. A candidate for active membership must have been a resident of Ogden for one year or more. Section 3. Nomination of prospective members shall be presented to the membership committee in writing, stating their qualifications and signed by three sponsors at least one week before being presented to the Club Voting shall take place at the next regular meeting. oh Section 4. Election shall be by ballot and thre negative votes shall exclude from membership. Section 5. Names of rejected candidates shall not be presented again within a year. Section 6. Active members shall consider themselves honorbound as far as possible to study the subjects under consideration by the Drama Club, to perform literary, musical or committee work assigned them. Three consecutive absences, without excuse, will be considered a withdrawal. Excuses must be in the hands of the hostess before the club meeting. Section 7.
