President) and Club: It has been a pleasure to serve as President of Drama Club this year, and I feel that we have been fortunate in being able to hold ten meetings, with an average attendance of ten members. Looking back one year, I am encouraged to find our present situation as pleasant as it is. © ) We are vroud of our members who are serving so efficiently in War Plant work and in industry, as well as those who are engaged in rearing our future new crop of United States citizens, even those activities have deprived us of their presence at Drama Club meetings. I have enjoyed our splendid programs, music) often prepared at some disadvantage audiences, but they have all been of all priviléed to attend. Mrs.Chambers obtained our interest in this play and we are grateful to her. We wish to thank Mrs.Adam Petterson in her untireing service in seeing that we sent our offerings or cookies to the Canteen of the Red Cross at the Union Depot. One of the greates joys in life comes from association with kindly and intelligent people. This joy has been richly accorded me in my relations with the Committees and Officers of this Club. I cannot praise too highly the constant help and devoted service of our Secretary Mrs.Florence Nebeker. She has served not only as recording Secretary, but also as Corresponding Secretary, .nd her obligations have been many, and met with good nature and effencieny : 6... I wish all, who have prepared to express my together with the sincerest members gratitude of all to my Committees officers and and those so cheerfully served as hostesses, and who have numbers on the programs.
