June 7, was held Our wonderful the Qur Inn at Temple Square at 11:00 members and their guests were Saturday, June June 7th breakfast in Salt Lake City 1997 A.M. wel- on at comed by President, Martha. She thanked Marge Dean and Jo d'Ann for arranging for this occasion and then turned the time over to Marge to introduce the program. Marge said that she was excited to have all of us in her home! She then introduced us to an exciting new performer, Diana Walker who has performed all over the united States. She has sung Opera and Musical Theatre in many cities and has sung at Carnegie Hall and other halls in New York City. She most recently performed in the National Touring Company of "Phantom of the Opera". She also has been soloist with several Symphony Orchestras. Her accompanist was Sherry Rassmussen. As Sherry began playing "I Could Have Danced All Night", from "My Fair Lady", this gorgeous woman with long, thick strawberry blonde hair and dress and shoes to match came dancing in and meZYmerized us with her enchanting, exciting voice. From that point on we were enthralled with the entire program right down to the encore, which was the title song from "Beauty and the Beast." After the program, Martha had each Drama Club member introduce herself and her guests. Luncheon was served at this time. Martha then thanked her officers for an outstanding year. She introduced incoming president, Afton Castlemain and turned over the gavels of office and the Die plate to her. Afton presented Martha a lovely gift and then introduced her officers.
