She is married to Floyd Waters, Jr., and they have been blessed with | three daughters, one son, one son-in-law, three granddaughters, and one grandson. Pastor Waters 1s an honor graduate of Edward Waters College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She currently works in the field of Human Resources and has been a professional career woman for over 27 years. Pastor Waters accepted Jesus and was baptized at the age of 12 at West Union Missionary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a talker and loves serving others and feeding everybody. Her passion is to allow others to see Jesus in her. She was licensed in the ministry in 1998 and ordained in 2000 by her Senior Pastor, Corey J. Hodges. She currently serves at New Pilgrim Baptist Church in Salt Lake City as the Executive Pastor under the leadership of Senior Pastor Hodges. She has previously served in ministry in many capacities: Children’s Choir, Usher Board, Sunday School Superintendent, Prayer Team, Adult Choir and all other areas that “her mother made her go to.” Pastor Waters is not afraid to let others know of the goodness of Jesus and does not mind taking the time to stop and pray for others. » She loves people and is concerned that all have the same opportunity to come to Rnow Jesus in the pardon of their sins. She recently served with the Mission Team of her church on the Navajo Reservation and has noted that her life will never be the same. She has stated that she now understands what real mission and ministry is all about.
