Youth can rent in-line skates and scooters at an additional charge, which they would pay on their own. Right now we are trying to get the pizza donated and if so, that will decrease the cost of our expenses. Our three churches can split the total cost three ways, which would be about $145.00 (without donations) each. As usual each church is in charge of handing out their own candy to their youth at the end of the night. We are also able to bring an IPOD, or some other electronic device to play Gospel music. New Zion and Second Baptist, please let me know by 09/21/14 if you are planning on participating in the Harvest Festival this year. | would like to send out Harvest Festival flyers to churches by 09/22/14. Last year we had over 51 youth skating, so | think it would be best if we just pay the $250. Anderson ... Thank you for the additional information. Is New Zion suppose to pay, by church check, the total amount for Classic Skating facility or does each church pay a portion? We have not participated with you for the past 2-3 years. How is that done now? I passed this info on to Dea. Nunn, who is our church point of contact. Blessings ~ Min. Attached you will find a flyer | created that you all are more than welcome to use. The cost for 50 or less youth to skate is $200 and for 51+ youth it is $250. That is the total cost, which can be split three ways among New Zion, Second Baptist & True Vine. The cost of skating includes admission and regular skates. Youth can also bring their own scooters and skates/rollerblades. If youth want to rent scooters or rollerblades they will need to pay for it on their own. Payment for skating is due on October 24 and they don't accept personal checks. We can also bring in our own food and drinks. Each church is responsible to give their own youth ziplocked sandwich bagged candy at the end of the night. It would be nice if we could have someone bring an I-pod with Christian music for skating. Second Baptist Youth Minister is Lee Eason and his e-mail is leeeason@hotmail.com.
