Show OFFICE OF The First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. P.O. Box B. Salt Lake City, Utah, Feb. 7th 1907 Hon. David Eccles Ogden, Weber Co. Utah. My Dear Brother:- I think I would not do myself justice nor show a proper feeling of appreciation of favor received, if I did not acknowledge the receipt of your favor of the 6th inst, just received, with valuable enclosure. Neither would I show proper respect to the master-mind of the Sumpter Valley Railroad Co. and the many other successful enterprises, of which you are the projector, builder and manager if I should not speak a word or two just now. You led me to suppose I might expect something soon, when we last conversed together on the train, but as I have schooled myself not to anticipate blessings, I did not permit the expectation to weigh very heavily on my mind. Your letter this morning with cheque, for 100% dividend on S.V. Ry- stock came therefore as a most agreeable and welcome surprise. Thank you, May you live long and prosper sincerely yours, Joseph F.
