Show THE Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints LONDON CONFERENCE. “Deseret” High Road. South Tottenham, London, Feb. 20th 1911. 191 Mr. David Eccles, Ogden Utah, Dear Brother Eccles: - While writing you concerning business matters I thought it might not be amiss to tell you of the good work being done by your son Joseph in this conference. I am proud of the record which he is making and the faithfulness and integrity which he exhibits, is enough to make any parent proud of a son. He is industrious, humble, and in every way fitted for the accomplishment of a most excellent work. Whenever he goes he carries a good influence, and everyone loves Elder Eccles. He is manifestly adapted to reach the better classes of people and I have him in the “west end” Which as you know probably, is the aristocratic part of the city. Yesterday we held district conference at this place and a quartette was rendered by E. F. Tout, E. L. McMurrin, Ralph Fugh, and Joseph, Eccles. This was one of the most creditable renditions I have ever heard in the mission field. You have no cause for anxiety with respect to Joseph, as I find him capable of taking care of himself in any circumstances whatever. With kindest personal regards I am yours faithfully, W. C. Monson, |
