Show August 30, 1971 Mr. Bill Keys c/o Foreign Service Lounge U.S. State Department Washington, D. C. Dear Mr. Keys: While visiting with personnel of the Bureau of Mines in Wash-ington last week, 1 was given your name in connection with mineral activities in Mexico. Next week I am planning a visit to Puebla as a guest of Hojalata y Lamina steel company, and following that I may have a chance to visit with one or two officers of the National City Bank of New York. I am interested in learning something about mining opportunities in Mexico and in this connection would appreciate a chance to talk to you on the telephone for a few minutes. Would you be kind enough to let me know where I can contact you by telephone on or about the 13th or 14th of September, as I shall be in Mexico right after Labor Day. I am looking forward to visiting with you and appreciate your assistance in this matter. Yours sincerely, Weston Bourret Vice President WB:eiw bcc H. Douglas |
