WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY'S President, Board of Trustees and Stewart Library invite you to the UTAH CONSTRUCTION/ UTAH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM November 5-6, 2003 In 1931 the Utah Construction Company led a consortium called Six Companies in winning a bid from the United States Bureau of Reclamation to build the Hoover Dam, considered the eighth wonder of the world. Please join us for a fascinating, inside look at the undertaking of this construction marvel, which took place in one of the country's bleakest landscapes during the nation's worst depression.
