Show Monday, Oct. 22, 1917This morning I went to Red Cross rooms to distribute (or assist) yarn we have 1300 lbs to knit up. Ogden ladies are very anxious to do all they can 250# went out today.Tuesday 23This A.M. same as every day. Just as buisy as can be. Dinner over. the work done up after which I visite the Ninth Ward R.S. and explain the knitting for the Red Cross. All very much enthused. 18 sets promised. Did some shopping. Get supper and off to Board meeting. Mary & Myrene are knitting.Wednesday, Oct. 24, 1917Today Dr the children and I drove to S.L.C. to attend and take part in a program given for Apostle charles C. Rich by the Daughters of Pioneers. Avon, Cleone & I played a trio. Many of the Rich family were present. Seven of his children, nine grand children & 2 great G.C. Many splendid things were said of him.Thursday 25Was up at six the children off to school by seven thirty. This afternoon I attended camp F. of the Daughters of Pioneers at Mrs. Lizzie thomas. After the programme the Red Cross knitting was taken up (Friday 26) Thair took $200.00 worth of Liberty Bands. Mary one for $30 & Myrene one for $50.00 which will make in all $1500.00 for the Richs |
