Show Clean Sweep Cats Sneak Past Westminster Five By Vance Pace Capacity Houses watched the Weber College Wildcats get past the Westminster Parsons to keep their ICAC record clean Friday and Saturday, January 15 and 16. The Cats squeaked past the Salt Lake crew, 54-53,, in the first contest on the Parsons' floor. The following night Bob Subic saved the day for Weber as he potted one from underneath to knot the game at 66-all. Weber came back to win the game in an overtime period, 72-70. Tough to Lose They were two games that were tough for the experienced Salt Lakers to lose as they led all the way in both encounters. Weber's last-minute surges were all that put them across. In Friday's game, Don Nish tanked the first pointer for Weber. Westminster then proceeded to drop in 14 points before the purple-clads could spread the net.
