During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show FESTIVALS AND FASTS. MORNING AND EVENING STARS. MERCURY will be Morning Star about January 4, May 2, August 29 and December 18; and Evening Star about March 18, July 15 and November 9. VENUS will be Morning Star till February 14; then Evening Star till November 29; and then Morning Star again the rest of the year. JUPITER will be Evening Star till June 10; then Morning Star till December 28; and then Evening Star again the rest of the year. CHRONOLOGICAL CYCLES. THE SEASONS. ECLIPSES FOR THE YEAR. In the year 1906 there will be five Eclipses, three of the Sun and two of the Moon. I. A TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON, February 8-9. Visible to North and South America, and in part to the western portions of Europe and Africa, and the eastern portions of Asia and Australia. Occurring as follows: II. A PARTIAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN, February 23. Invisible to North America. Visible to the southern edge of Australia and the Antarctic Ocean. III. A PARTIAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN, July 21. Invisible to North America. Visible to south Atlantic Ocean. IV. A TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON, August 4. Visible to Australia and in part to the central and western portions of North America, the western coast of South America, and the greater part of Asia. Occurring as follows: V. A PARTIAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN, August 19. Visible to the north-west corner of the United States, the western half of the Dominion of Canada, Alaska and the Arctic regions. |
