During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show MONDAY, OCT. 31, 1898 Dr was called to West Weber early this A.M. to a confinement case Ettie washed. I did up the morning work and have sewed some Dr came home late & very tired. Has been to West Weber tonight TUESDAY, NOV. 1 Have practiced some today and sewed some Dr was out with a confinement case this A.M. Nothing special pleasant weather heavy frost last night. WEDNESDAY 2 Have sewed most all day Practiced an hour. Dr. has been very buisy came home late but we went to the Opera quite good. THURSDAY, NOV. 3, 1898 I took any vocal lesson this A.M. Attended Y.L.M.I.A. this afternoon called on Annie Rich & Mrs. Severn. Attended a political meeting in Opera house with Mrs. Flygare F. J. Cannon main speaker Dr has been out all evening with case of miscarriage. FRIDAY 4 Dr has amputated an arm and set a broken shoulder today. He has been very buisy came home tired out tonight & retired early. Beautiful weather Have done most of work today & let Ettie sew. Practiced SATURDAY 5 Have sewed most all day. Practiced one hour Went down town Dr. is very buisy. |
