The library is a service center, reader's guide; reference a teaching agency, a guid- ance agency, a materials center and a reading center. The purpose of the library is to dispense materials of all kinds; books, neswpapers, magazines, pamphlets, etc. Each sophomore class is brought into the library and by means of films and mimeographed material are taught the use of the card catalog; the materials of all kinds, dictionaries, indexes, source books, etc. Student library assistants are taught i the mechanical and technical procedures of the library.
