The last audit was made runs within to October ist, 2935 and so there would be a considerable sericd that would be outlawed, unless the pending case might serve to extend the statute, however, the case covers the specific tax period in question, which ended Sep~ tember 30th, 1935. Since the Government is taking advantage of every technicality to get all it can out of us it may be that you will want to refer this idea to Mr. Moyle, though probably both he and you already have it in mind, Sineerly f i yours, poo ff.
