Show ia 2 QUILL AND SCROLL — Marty Thompson, Jeane Rogers, Betty Sue Miller and Glenn Child were the officers of the Weber chapter of the Quill and Scroll society. The club is an international " honorary society of high school journalists. To ee join the club, a person must have achieved in some phase of journalism, and must submit something that he has written that has been published. SCRIPTO — Scripto is the school literary magazine published by the Journalism Department. Students were encouraged to write for Scripto, and prizes were awarded for the top stories, poems, and essays. The editors were: Mayone Woodbury, Jeane Rogers, Mary Sue Stallings, Janet Baird, and Pat Brenchley. Publications SO THIS IS WEBER — This official handbook is in its tenth year. Its main purpose was to help you become acquainted with Weber High School. The staff consisted of Mayone Woodbury, Nancy Peterson, Mary Sue Stallings, Jean Ann Stratford. WARRIOR TRUMPETER — This was the official.organ of the student body. It was published once every three weeks by the Journalism Department. The staff consisted of: Jean Ann Stratford, Editorin-Chief; Marty Thompson, Assistant Editor; Kathy Morgan, Feature Editor; Dennis Berrett, Sports Editor; Doug Wilmoth, Assistant Sports Editor; Glenn Child, Business Manager; Mary Sue Stallings, Staff Artist. ~ |
