Dear Students, : Many of you are probably wondering what exactly goes on in the journalism class. Go look it up in last year’s yearbook. Rather than explaining what we do on the newspaper staff, I felt that I should explain a few things about the newspaper itself. First off, any and all mistakes contained within the pages of the Warrior News are solely the fault of the computer. As journalists, we have progressed beyond the capacity for error in ourselves. Secondly, journalism is not a normal class. It is a collection of mildly insane people who thrive on deadlines and the written word. ||| || | i) || _ || ait ‘| || | i _| _ || ih Last of all, we, the newspaper staff, would it || like to express our undying appreciation to everyone out there who put our publication to good use. i i Hopefully, “good use” would entail actually reading ||| the paper, but any just and noble cause is acceptable. il That’s all I really have to say, so thanks for ‘li your attention, and don’t forget to laminate my | articles! it Curtis Porter Hy | Editor-in-Chief \)| Bottom row: Melissa Shiverdecker, Shane Thompson, Karl Stringham, Cindy Stettler(Advisor), Jill Montgomery, Jana | i iif | Kellett, Holly Grieve, Stephanie Baxter Back row: Curtis Porter, Vicky Ezquerro, Rachel Moss, Brandon Manning, Editor-in-Chief Newspaper Advisor Jeanne Woirhaye, Ryan Daley, Daron Shupe | II Curtis Porter Cindy Stettler i i) Assistant Editor Katie Stone News Editors Holly Grieve | | | Art Director Brandon Manning Vicky Ezquerro Technical Consultant | Features Editors Lynette Atkinson {| i Ryan Daley Photographs Jana Kellett | Carolee Anderson Photo Editor Adam Boswell } Stephanie Baxter Tricia Deardon | | Sports Editor Kim i wh Rachel Moss Reporters Brandt Hart Nalene Perry | | Melissa Miles | Shiverdecker Daron Shupe q Karl Stringham i Jeanne Woirhaye it Shane Thompson Dethrow Pitcher Kristen Robinson Shantel Stowell Carey Williams Mandy Williams | Heidi Glover Sheri Williams || Rhonda Owens Karrie Weight || | Tracie Richards Business Manager Jill Montgomery Photography Advisor Randy Bates a ca a a Ne = + ‘
