Show Ideal Church Leaders Eph. 4:11-12; 1 Tim. 4:11-16,; 2 Tim, 2:15; 2 Cor. 4:7; I Peter 4:10 He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. y These things command and teach. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in — doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. A Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth SS not to be ashamed, rightly dividing = <= _ the word of truth. vessels, that the excellency of the— power may be of God, and not of us. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the mani- fold grace of God. |
