Show Contributors MARGE VOWLES ... we have known all year that Marge was a capable manager through her work as Business Manager of the Signpost. However, we never dreamed of her literary talents then came "Loneliness." BERNICE McENTIRE . . wrote "Cheated" last year. She is now working as a stenographer in the Vocational Department. But we considered her story interesting enough to go in the Scribulus. JOYCE LUTZ . . . the new name we've added to our list of contributers because you students asked for new talent. This will be her last quarter at Weber, but she can perhaps contribute next year as an Alumna. IRENE BUSHELL ... is one of the only two freshman who have stuck on the Scribulus staff all year. She has written for every issue and it is rumored that she is hoping for a better position on the staff next year. MICHI WATANABE . . . wrote the article "My Father" as an expository biography in English. When we read it we thought it painted such an interesting character sketch that we would pass it on to you. MARY MALINOWSKI . . . was just recently put on the Scribulus staff. But since her writing is very good, and since she has had experience on both Ogden High School's and Weber College's yearbook, we shall accept her as a full-fledged staff member. RAY B. WEST, JR. . . . since Mr. West has proved to be a very fine adviser for Scribulus during his first year at Weber, we have decided to print two of his poems in the last issue of the year. They're tricky little numbers, but you'll like them. LESBETH LUCAS . . . brings us another of her poems. Timely, as ever, this one has as special significance for "Yearbook week." DOUG STRINGFELLOW . . . illustrated stories for this issue. A graduate of Ogden High, Doug is pursuing a business major at Weber. BOB PETTY ... did some illustrations for us this time too. A pre-med, Bob says if he flunks his chemistry he'll take up art. OREN JACOBS . . . lettered and designed the entire page for "The Last Minstrel" for us. page for "The Last Minstrel" for us. DAVE MEYER . . . designed and cut the stencil for this cover. Dave gained the title of Art editor after his work with the Winter number cover. LORNA HULL, JACK STANDING, BERT STRAND, and MARIE LARSEN all helped with the lettering for this issue. FARRELL COLLETT . . . was the artist of "Strength in the Hills" a photograph of which appears in Scribulus on page 14. It was made especially for the new Institute building. Ambition Desire is like being Locked in a small room, Or a six-foot box, Too soon. It's like always seeing Your own odd shape In the wall-glass Replace The forever freeing, Incessant tick Of the flesh watch; The thick Bomb's silent breathing Our years away Promising, promising The day.
