During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Tuesday, April 27, 1920 Buisy at home this a.m. This afternoon I went out to the 14 ward to Relief Society meeting, also went to Board Meeting this evening. Wednesday 28 Buisy at home all day Sister Flygare was here this evening Dr very buisy. Thursday 29 Have cleaned closets all day. Friday April 30, 1920 Have been cleaning up stairs in Myrenes room had it papered. I calciumed the closet myself. The first military Hop by Ogden High S. was given at Berthana this evening. Myrene went for the first time to a big party with Clinton Pugmire. Dr and I attended also Thair. Saturday, May 1 Cleaned and made new curtains spead etc for Marys room. She picked the material also the paper it look so cute. She and Myrene took their music lesson The boys are boith out late tonight. I sat up late and sewed. Dr has an appendix case Mr Griffins son Sunday 2 Thair Myrene and Mary went to Sunday School. I went to Fast Wicking. Dr has gone to Harrisville this afternoon. A beautiful day but still enjoy furnace heat & grate - fire. |
