During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Paris THUR. AUG. 8, 1895 We visit with the family and friends this evening, I get a telegram from Ezra to go to Ogden. I can not catch train so go to ranch and sleep with Wm. A hard frost. Much grain frozen FRIDAY 9 Paris Wm. Amasa and I come up from the ranch and spend the day in settling some business for Mother. We have a hard days work, but do good work. SATURDAY 10 Paris Quarterly Conference here to day. I go to meeting this afternoon Apostle H. J. Grand speaks. A good meeting. Take ride in evening. Paris SUN. AUG. 11, 1895 We go to Conference to day. Apostle H. J. Grant occupies nearly all the time and speaks real well. Go in to Namies house after meeting MONDAY 12 Paris Mother and all of her children and grandchildren -25- in all go to Fish Haven for an out and pic-nic. We have a fine time swimming ech TUESDAY 13 Paris We all visit at home to day and have a good time together. We visit the grave yard Ten of Fathers family have been put in the ground since I have visited the grave yard. |
