During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Montpelier WED. AUG. 14, 1895 Mira and I say good bye to the folks at home and come by the ranch and William comes with us to Montpelier We stop at Mrs. Cozzens and have a nice visit with the family Pocatello THURSDAY 15 Mamie and I came down to Soda this morning and have spent the day in drinking Soda water ect. Met Alvin Rich and his sisters Caddie and Drue and Same Parrish Ate supper with them FRIDAY 16 Ogden Mamie started for Gauson from Pocatello and I started for Ogden I hated to part with her. I arrived in Ogden at 7:40 this morning Ezra and I do an operation on Mrs Moys neck Ogden SAT. AUG. 17, 1895 A quite day a busy day. Am called to a case of miscarriage this evening. Ezra is out to a confinement case to night. Am called to see a sick child in the night SUNDAY 18 Ogden I see to the miscarriage case and visit other patients. A hot day. Write to Mira MONDAY 19 Ogden A warm day Several office patients and some visits in town. |
