Show Oditor “Golden Spike, 1956,” a little title that means much to the student body of Weber high, and even more to those of us who spent many enjoyable hours working on it. To the photographers flitting here and there with their cameras; to the Junior yearbook staff knee deep in research; to the artists drawing Weberennie, to the business staff getting the subscriptions, and to Maggie and I, it meant a chance to contribute something really worth while to the spirit of Weber High. We all put in our finest effort for one big reason, so that in the years to come, of 1956, could look back you the student body with “Good Old Weber.” This is your yearbook, enjoy it! In the following pages, we have tried to present to you, the student body of Weber, memories of your high school days. We have tried to have represented in this book some of the activities that will be memorable to you in the years to come. Barbara and I have tried to represent the fun filled times that you have had here at Weber. The games—dances—the halls filled with laughing, screaming students and also the serious moments when as a group we sang the school hymn with humbleness and feeling in our hearts. This yearbook took team work on the part of all concerned, the junior staff, Mr. Van Wagoner, the staff artists, photographers, Mr. Westergard, Mr. Johnson, and the business staff, have all played an important part on this team., We hope that you will think that our team is a winner. We now present our yearbook to you and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed putting it together for you. Assistant ©ditor fond memories of |
