Description |
In piecing together the opening pages for Moth Wings, several attendant questions floated in and out of focus, casting a sort of paralysis over me as I sought to fill in the blank pages of my commonplace notebook. Walker's writing on telling one's own experiences through fiction spoke to the part of me that wanted to accomplish something socially engaging through storytelling, to project that deep level of meaning pursued always by the artistic writer and to realize the full promise of fiction. |
