Boasting the Region One track crown, the Weber High School Cinder aces entered the state meet at the University of Utah where they emerged seventh placers. Coach Jack Sorenson's boys recorded no losses throughout the season until they entered the state meet. Among other victories, the Weberites captured the Ogden City-Weber County title by edging Weber were past the Ogden Kenton Stanger, hurdles; Brent Hoggan, High Tigers 100, 220, under the Weber low and lights.
