Show MISCELLANEOUS SPRING ACTIVITIES The Region One and City-County Championships were two of the many honors brought home by Coach Floyd Slater's The Weber green golfers. and inexperienced boys, captained by Robert Taylor, a Veteran, worked hard throughout the season to sail out in front and capture championship honors. Members of the teams were Mike Oborn, Richard Scott, Don Bradshaw, Golf team ready themselves for a meet. Jerry LaFleur, Ronald Imlay, Tom Donough, Robert Taylor. and Mc- The FFA Beet show held annually in connection with the Agriculture Department was a huge success. The steers were brushed and curied to perfection with Robert Folkman taking the grand prize. FFA Beef show with outstanding steers pictured. On the evening of May 16, the four best one-act plays from the speech | department were presented for parents and friends ‘'What's Cooking, .. Little: Darlings, “Romance is a Racket’ and ‘Three's a crowd'' were the four plays selected. Faculty Advisor Mr. Leonard Rowley. One Act play ‘What's Cooking." é was A new event this year was the Senior Supper. Only Seniors attended and were served a delicious meal which was cooked by the school cooks in the cafeteria. With Brian Renstrom and Quinn McKay as masters of ceremonies the program progressed with many laughs and atter the school song, a few tears when the Seniors realized that this was the next to the last time they as Seniors would sing the song. Seniors enjoy a new event, the Senior Supper. |
