Business at the Crossroads - Ogden City is a project to collect oral histories related to changes in the Ogden business district since World War II. From the 1870s to World War II, Ogden was a major railroad town, with nine rail systems. With both east-west and north-south rail lines, business and commercial houses flourished as Ogden became a shipping and commerce hub. |

The following is an oral history interview with Althea Roberts. The first portion of this interview was conducted by Jordan Chavez on August 8, 2013. The second part of the interview was conducted on August 21, 2013 by Elliot McNally. In both interviews, Althea discusses her life in Ogden and 25th Street; The following is a video clip of an oral history interview. A full transcript is available. |
