Who may dwell in Your holy hill? | Congregation: He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart. | Minister: He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up reproach against his friend. Congregation: In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change. | Minister: He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved: Congregation: Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. ‘Minister: The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. | Congregation: The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You | will sustain him on his sickbed.
