Show those with Charm Lovely Jeanette Richards was selected from photographs submitted to Cornel Wilde to reign as Excelsior's Sweetheart at their annual ball. Viking's candidate for Snow Queen, petite Pat Dunbar, won over a select group of Weber College coeds, to reign at their Ski Frolic. This adorable freshman, Joyce Barnes, received a gold wrist watch honoring her selection as Miss Collegiate in the annual contest sponsored by Alpha Rho At their annual dance the Phoenix boys decided blond Peggy Wood was their ideal girl, thus she became the Phoenix Sweetheart of 1948-49. We have those among us who have been honored for their beauty, friendliness, loveliness, and charm. They are the queens chosen by the different organizations on special occasions. Several queens were chosen too late to be represented in the book. |
