Announcements for week of November 25, 2018 BUSINESS LR MASS “SS AN NZBC Church Business Meeting: A// members are encouraged to come and be a voice of input for church items of business. “NZBC Special Announcements “ New Zion Baptist Church — “Quarterly Business Meeting” the Business Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 29" at 6:30pm. We need everyone who’s able to attend this meeting. Additionally, the 2079 e voted on fo serve in 2019. NZBC Ministry Openings: There are five vital leadership positions currently vacant. The 2018 Nominating Committee are seeking for God fearing, spirit filled and knowledgeable members who are willing to plan, organize and coordinate with senior leadership in the ministries listed below: Please contact the Nomination Committee if you are interested or with questions. Nomination Committee: Dea. Dale Griffin, Dea. Kenneth Wilder and Sis. Tenisha Tucker. Laymen & Women’s Mission Ministry (There are two positions): The Laymen President and The Women’s Mission President, with the oversight of the Pastor and the Deacon Ministry will make a special effort to increase the missionary interest and zeal of the church. Ministry will meet regularly with its members to teach and discuss Christian principles to strengthen the faith of the women and men of all ages within the church. Assist the Board of Christian Education in conducting annual school of missions. General Treasurer: Disburse, as authorized by the church and Trustee Ministry all church obligations. Disbursement will be by voucher for checks only, credit card or electronically. Provide itemized quarterly and annual reports at the Church Business Meetings or more often if so requested. Youth Director: The church Youth Department and its Director, with the oversight of the Pastor and the Deacon Ministry, will provide Christian education and coordinate events, projects and initiatives suitable for church youth’s spiritual growth and development. Historian: The Historian Chairperson will coordinate with all church boards, ministries and committees to ensure accurate and updated historical documentation is maintained.
