Show Summary of 1950-51. WEBER COLLEGE OGDEN UTAH, MAY 29, 1951 Volume 14 Number 16 Rod Pollard, fast running back on the Weber team gets tripped up after making a good gain in a game at the Ogden Stadium last fall. Freshir Day, a few of the Freshies take their turn shining up the Bell. They must have forgot to salute a sophomore. Left to right After winning Region IV of the NJCAA. A scene from College Community Play Liliom. Slater and Deamer perform at Talent Show. Cheer Leaders at basketball game. A group of the girls at the A.W.S. Water Carnival. Action at the Alpha Rho Smokeless Smoker. Hughie Jacobs has his opponent on the run. The good old Moench building pictured above has been the scene of many happy occasions for Weber students over the years. It has been added to and remodeled on several occasions but to the students and alumni of Weber College it still holds the same spirit that dominated the leaders of years ago and our leaders now, it represents a struggle for a better Weber Colege over the years. We will leave the Moench building behind when we move to the new campus, but we cant afford to leave the things that it represents behind. Otyakwas prize winning float. (homecoming parade.) The leads and directors of the highly successful opretta Sweethearts. Supper under the stars at one of the many Geology Field Trips. The annual Snow Carnival at Snow Basin (Some also went skiing.) The annual Christmas Oratorio, written and conducted by Mr. Roland Parry, is one of the music departments really big performances. |
