Show Jimmy Stewart and June Allyson in Hollywood chose this year's Otyokwa and Excelsior sweethearts from photos submitted. Marian Underwood reigned as Excelsior's sweetheart, and Frank Odd was chosen as Otyokwa's favorite man. They were introduced during intermission ceremonies at the annual Sweetheart Ball. Myrna Larsen was the deserving recipient of two queenships this year. She was chosen the Outstanding Sophomore Girl from among six worthy contestants and was presented during the Orchid Ball. She was also voted Lamba Delta Sigma's sweetheart. Her attendants were Joyce Bodily and Jean Bingham. Our friendliest girl at Weber was Noma Allen, who is so full of sparkle and sincerity that everyone is drawn to her. She is a member of La Dianaeda and also serves as president of A. W. S. on campus, where she is most efficient as an executive, too. Carol Vee Robinson, chosen by popular vote, was selected by the guys around the campus as their ideal Miss. She was crowned A. M. S. queen during the intermission of their annual dance. She is a member of Otyokwa. Her attendants were Pat Carr and Judy Johnston. |
