Slavica became an exchange student to “‘feel the way people live and to know the country’. Her hobbies are motorcycles, skiing, swimming, traveling, and playing the piano. Her favorite classes are mathematics and physics. The things she doesn’t like are school lunches, no windows, and Tuesdays. He hails from Botucala, Brazil and is living now in Liberty. He says he became a foreign exchange student ‘‘to know better the land and the culture, and for new experience’’. Bob likes living in the valley because it’s closer to the ski resorts and “‘it’s not the city like I used to live in, in Brazil’’. His hobbies include soccer, tennis, skiing, and horseback riding. What he likes about Utah is the difference in the school systems and the temperature. “In Brazil it’s too hot’’! He also likes his new friends and meeting new people. He says, ‘‘the food isn’t as good”’.
