Rich, Dr. Edward I. and Emily Almira Cozzens Diaries
74 diaries of Dr. Edward Rich and his wife Almira. They begin in 1892 and run through 1965. The bulk of this collection centers on Almira's diaries that run from 1897.1947. During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins.

World War I Edmond (Ted) Littlefield
Diary, personal letters and photos of Edmond Arthur Littlefield principally from his service in the American Field Service during World War I. Other items include pre and post WWI letters and photos.

World War I Photographs
Photographs and a video clip of the Armistice Parade that took place in Ogden, Utah in 1919. They include photographs of the troops returning from war, various women's groups like the American Red Cross, and school children. These photographs were donated by Richard Roberts.

World War I Service Cards
Service cards of men and women from Weber County that served during World War I. They include their home address, next of kin, the branch of service, entrance date, discharge date, and remarks such as where they served and if killed in action. Included in this collection are notable names such as Browning, Scowcroft, Bernard DeVoto, Lawrence Dee, and Edmund Littlefield.

World War I Stanley Purrington
Stanley Purrington was originally from Ogden, Utah and joined the Army in 1918. He and sixty other young men from Ogden were sent to Camp Fremont, California for training. Upon completion of his training he was dispatched to France to become part of the occupying forces at Camp Pontanezen. During his time there, he was a battalion sergeant major in the 8th Infantry. Purrington returned home to Ogden on August 30, 1919. The diaries in this collection detail his time in service from August 12, 1918 to March 26, 1919 and May 29, 1919 to Sept. 28, 1919, along with his experiences overseas. The view book includes photographs and postcards collected by Purrington during his time in Europe as well as some biographical information.
