Show FIGHTING _ARIRE Vs EQUIPMENT INSPECTIC a Testing Fire Trucks, is a regular routine at the Utah ASF Depot, and every part of the equipmant must be in A-l1 condition at all times. Under the supervision of Colonel Keller,of the Post Engineers, who is the Fire Marshall, all equipment on this post is regularly checked every three months.Fire Chief Vinning, has direct supervision of equipment and personnel at this Depot, in this department, which includes three stations, six trucxs and a per - ie: tt sonnel of 39 men. eS Pe a the During a test made recently, pumps on the trucks were put into operation, for the purpose of draughting water from a canal, and through a nozzle one and three fourths inches in diameter, they were able to send 750 gallons of water per minute, into the air; shooting it a distance of 200 ft.
