Biographical/Historical Note The following is a video clip from an oral history interview with Ward and Claude Armstrong. "CA: There were four kids in our family and our dad, on Saturday nights, used to take all four of the kids over to Brown's Ice Cream Factory and Store which was by Hostess Bakery, the Wonder Bread Bakery. Brown's Ice Cream was there for years and each of us kids would get one single scoop ice cream cone and our dad would get a glass of buttermilk and the total bill was twenty five cents. Five cents for each cone and five cents for the buttermilk, but that was a family outing."
