Show TagYoure It Anyone tagged tomorrow with the button shown being pinned on Hazel Batchelor will be "IT" as far as good citizenship is concerned for it will signify their enrollment in the Crusade for Freedom. A coin dropped in the canister as shown will entitle the contributor to wear the badge. Hazel Jeanette Riplinger (at right) and other Weber college Whip club girls will conduct the "Tag Day." Twenty-five members of Whip Club, Weber college girls' organization, will invade the Ogden shopping center tomorrow in a final drive to raise funds for the Crusade for Freedom campaign. Attired in their school colors of purple and white, the girls will carry Crusade coin canisters for contributions and also freedom pledges for signatures of donors. W. Harold Dobson, Crusade chairman for Ogden city and Weber County, said the girls will stage the tag day event In behalf of the local campaign between hours of eight-thirty a.m. and noon. The money raised locally will be used with other contributions of the national campaign to extend Radio Free Europe facilities for fighting communism, Mr. Dobson said. "An important phase of the national Crusade is to enlist 25,000,000 persons and donors are asked to sign enrollment cards which the girls will carry," he said. Each donor is entitled to wear a Crusade pin, |
