Show er whose engagement to Ron Irs. Collin W. Lowder is an- and Mrs. Clarence M. Barker. H Arthur Harbertson, Mrs. Harold G. Hutchens, Mrs. George Meyer, Mrs. David A. Scott, Mrs. A. E 11 Wilfong, Mrs. Elenora Z. Meyers and Mrs. C. B. Johnson. California Way It's home again for Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Fleming who have been spending some time in Santa Monica, Calif., with their daughter, Mrs. Rex Larsen (Doris Fleming) who was stricken with polio in August. The Flemings report that their daughter is improving slightly. She has been in an iron lung for many months and now is on a rock-a-bye bed, at the Rancho Las Amigos, Building 50, Hondo, Calif. Mrs. Larsen is a sister of Bill Fleming, noted artist and illustrator of Saturday Evening Post fame. The Larsen's 4-year-old son, David, has been with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Larsen of Brigham City, for many months, but returned to his parents last week. North Ogden, Donald Lowder er, Miss Elaine Barker, to Ron ald D. Lowder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Collin W. Lowder, 1340 10th St. The bride-to-be was graduated from Weber College where she was a member of Otyokwa Social Club and also served as president during her sophomore year. Miss Barker presently is attending Brigham Young University and is affiliated with Val Norn Social Unit. Mr. Lowder is a student at Weber College where he is well- known for his outstanding performances in athletics and is a member of Excelsior Club. The couple is planning a fall wedding. |
