Show We came to Weber State to meet new friends; study and have a good time and we left having found what we were looking for . . . Knowing it has made a better person out of us. 2 A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT As another academic year concludes, many of the students at Weber State College will be receiving their certificates of completion and diplomas. In the years immediately ahead, some will be imersed in the "world of work", some will be continuing their studies at graduate school, and some will be involved in the formation of families and in the management of households. Some will be using their energies in civic and cultural activities. As the years and decades pass, most of us will shift our involvement considerations from one activity to another, searching for opportunities to make further contributions to our society and looking for additional ways to enrich our lives and make them more satisfying and useful. Most men and women, as they progress through a life of varied activities and increased responsibilities, will periodically reflect back upon their years of preparation. These reflections often focus on memories of college years, of happy events, of exciting activities, and especially of special friends. As the past becomes more distant and as ones memory becomes more dim, often a name or a picture of a face or event enables one to recall, then enhance with vividness, images from the past. Hopefully this volume will not only enable you to relive often these college years but also maintain closer ties to your classmates, to your friends, and to the college. Rodney H. Brady W.S.C.
